When installed in a ProSeries PROA7PLUS. Security system, it can detect a potential intruder, record a short video clip, and transmit it to Total Connect where the end user can verify if it was a false alarm or not. The confirmation that an intrusion or other event is in progress can reduce false alarms and help achieve a faster, higher priority response from first responders. When the ProSeries system is armed and the motion detector senses motion, the camera captures an image or up to a 10-second digital video clip. The alarm is reported via the control panel to the central monitoring station, while the video or image is delivered to Total Connect along with a notification, in accordance with the system’s configuration and programming. The video or image may also be viewed at the ProSeries control panel or secondary touchscreen keypad. With ProSeries, these devices can also be programmed to deliver notifications to the end-user, using the new Awareness or 24-hr. The device may be programmed to be active only when a partition is armed (Awareness) or always on 24-hr. Awareness, and may be configured with various sound options when triggered. The sound options include None, Chime Only, Continuous Trouble beeping, and Alarm On siren. When motion is detected, the device captures an image or up to a 10-sec video clip which is sent to the panel and subsequently to Total Connect. Both the panel (and secondary touchscreens) and Total Connect receive a notification that an event was detected. An optional curtain sleeve is available for the PROOUTMV allowing the installer to customize the activity area that the PIR monitors. Captures video for transmission to Total Connect and the ProSeries panel for end user verification purposes.
