This is the black (IS-TS-0700-B) ADT Pulse Compatible Touchscreen Keypad made by GE. It is a WiFi color touchscreen that can control the alarm system and any of the ADT Pulse devices. You can also see the ADT Pulse Cameras on it. The best part of having this keypad is that you can control the ADT Pulse system and all of its components without needing to log in with a username and password like you do on a smartphone or tablet. This is the first touchscreen that ADT had made when they released ADT Pulse in 2011. It has just about the same functions as the second and third ones made by Netgear, but is just a little bulkier and less responsive. The new one made by Netgear also has a 7 touchscreen and the menu looks pretty identical. One benefit to getting this larger keypad is that it comes with a mounting plate to mount it to the wall. If mounted it would look best to run the the power cord behind the wall. This touchscreen will not display newer HD cameras. One disadvantage is that the GE Keypad IS-TS-0700-B does not come with a battery inside so if you want to unplug it from time to time and move it around you will want the Netgear model. See the two side by side below. If you want to have the keypad on the desktop like it is shown in the picture you need to add a stand for it. (the GE one doesn’t come with a stand but the Netgear one does). If you have ADT Pulse already and want to add this keypad make sure you can add it when you go to system, manage devices. His touchscreen is not compatible with ADT TSS panel. Lease allow up to 48 hours for this screen to update once you learn it into your Pulse System.
